Fighting Camels Bang Out 9-6 Win Versus Brooklyn
|
Kazuki Ito left his imprint on the 9-6 Framingham win against the Brooklyn Cyclones. Ito, the seven overall pick in the 2032 draft, went 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Gohta Yamashiro, credited with the win, is now 3-3. He allowed 6 runs on 5 hits in 5 innings. Vinny Caballero earned the save for Framingham, his 8th.
The Fighting Camels got a big at-bat from second baseman Miguel Marrero. For the game, Marrero was 1-5 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Framingham a 7-5 lead.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Framingham manager Kiyomori Shimizu.
Framingham now has a 3-game win streak.
