Streaking Revenge Win Another One
|
The Barbados Revenge extended their winning streak at Castro Field.
Barbados left-hander Alejandro Reyes helped his team edge Caribbean by the score of 2-1. Reyes kept the opposing lineup in check. Reyes, now 1-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 1 earned run.
The Revenge got a big at-bat from left fielder Dylan Williams. For the game, Williams was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Barbados a 2-0 lead.
"It was a good effort all around," said Williams.
Barbados now has a 9-game win streak.
