Victory Pushes Revenge Record to 22-11
|
The Barbados Revenge got a stellar performance from pitcher Brian Christ, who handcuffed the Scottsdale offense en route to a 5-1 win at The Drunken Wench Stadium. The second-place Revenge have won 7 straight games.
The Revenge got a big at-bat from second baseman Winn Miller. For the game, Miller went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 12th double of the season gave Barbados a 2-0 lead.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Barbados manager Will Bartlett.
