Jorge Juarez was instrumental in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Long Beach KO. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the El Paso Bomberos. El Paso reliever Yorinobu Kern picked up the win to move to 5-0. Ben Robinson suffered the loss. Picking up the save was Zach Faulkner, his 10th.
Juarez had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Bomberos went on to win.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said El Paso manager Yoshida Nakao.
The Bomberos bumped their record to 18-13 with this latest triumph.
