Victory Over Rail Riders Takes Brooklyn to 18-11
The Cyclones faced a stiff challenge from Augusta pitcher Yen-nien Pan, but persevered to claim a win at Vin Scully Park. The final score was 5-2. Pan went 7.2 innings and allowed 5 earned runs. Rickey Turner picked up the save, his 1st. The Cyclones have an impressive 18-11 record.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from shortstop Octavio Borges. For the game, Borges went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 23rd hit of the season gave Brooklyn a 2-1 lead.
