The Caribbean Commies topped the Union Farmers, 4-1, with youngster Bobby Savoy playing a key role. Savoy was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Commies in the win. The Commies bumped their record to 14-13 with this latest triumph.

Early in the game, Savoy had a 3-run home run for Caribbean. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Commies on top, 4-1.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Savoy. "And not try to do too much."
