Caribbean overcame a superlative game from Javier Polanco to beat Union, 2-0. The Union pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. The save was Jose Laracuente's, his 10th. The Commies bumped their record to 13-13 with this latest triumph.
