Bonilla goes 4-for-4, Suenos Move to 15-10
|
The Santa Barbara Suenos defeated the Framingham Fighting Camels, 10-8, in Prince Fielder League action at Camel Tow Park, with Santa Barbara designated hitter Guadalupe Bonilla named player of the game. The second-place Suenos have won 4 straight games.
The Suenos got a big at-bat from catcher Enrique Guerrero. For the game, Guerrero was 1-4 with a walk. In the top of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 17th hit of the season gave Santa Barbara a 2-1 lead.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Guerrero said. "We did a good job of that today."
