Revenge Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rail Riders
The Barbados Revenge knocked off the Augusta Rail Riders, 6-2, at Murderer's Row. Todd Gladue, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Barbados won. The second baseman was 4 for 7 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Revenge bumped their record to 15-9 with this latest triumph.

The Revenge got a big at-bat from first baseman Bob Hern. For the game, Hern was 1-1 with a home run and a walk. In the top of the 14th, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Barbados a 3-2 lead.

Hern expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
