Multi-HR Day for McKoy as Rangers Overpower Fighting Camels, 10-3
|
The Rockville Rangers downed the Framingham Fighting Camels, 10-3, at Camel Tow Park. The Rangers were led by Omar McKoy, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Rockville reliever Max Hageman picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Dave Paredes was saddled with the loss. The Rangers have an impressive 10-5 record.
McKoy had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Rangers went on to win.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said McKoy.
