Victory Over Sasquatch Takes Rubber City to 58-31
Rubber City right-hander James Thompson made an effective start against the Seattle Sasquatch at The Rubber Grounds, leading his team to a 6-2 win. Shinzo Sasaki earned his 29th save in 33 chances. The Rhinos bumped their record to 58-31 with this latest triumph.

Pedro Pérez, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2031, aided the Rubber City cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder drove in 2 runs.

In postgame comments to the Rubber City Chronicle, Pérez said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
