The El Paso Bomberos faced a tough opponent in Framingham pitcher Gohta Yamashiro, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Back Draft by a final score of 4-0. Yamashiro went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. El Paso, now 6-1, has played well in the early going.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, third baseman Darren Culshaw came through big-time for the Bomberos. With El Paso leading 1-0, he belted a solo home run.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Culshaw. "And not try to do too much."
