The San Angelo Mustangs topped the Okanagan Lake Monsters by the score of 5-3 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Single A League Championship today. The largest share of the credit went to player of the game and San Angelo starter Kunio Otsuka, who threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball in the win.

It could have been a different outcome for San Angelo, had it not been for Adrian Jimenez, the 20-year old center fielder . Jimenez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put San Angelo up, 4-2.

"We did enough to win," said Otsuka.

The next game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 19th, 2033 at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. The scheduled starters for the game are Henry Baker for Okanagan and Oscar Mata for San Angelo.
