Almost There: Brisbane On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 4-3 Win
The Brisbane Bush Wackers moved to within one game of the Single A World Series today, downing the Houston Sting on the road at Woodland Park by a score of 4-3. Bush Wackers left-hander Luis Santana was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball. The win gives the Bush Wackers a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Single A League Championship.

Insung Yaung aided the Brisbane cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1.

"I like our moxie," said Bush Wackers manager Pete Barrett.

Game 5 is scheduled for tomorrow in Houston. The scheduled starters for the game are Graham Bennett for Brisbane and José López for Houston.
