Hawaii Tops Brooklyn 6-1, Claim 2-1 Series Lead
With starter Norogumi Yokoyama leading the charge, the Hawaii Islanders defeated the Brooklyn Black Knights, 6-1, in Game 3 of the Divisional Round today. The left-hander threw 6 innings allowing 1 run at Blue Ivy Stadium to help Hawaii take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Bagaskoro Pakpahan aided the Hawaii cause with a 2-run double in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Yokoyama attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."

Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow. Slated to start are David Guzman for the Hawaii Islanders and Xiong Yang for the the Brooklyn Black Knights.
