The Mile High Mustangs started the Divisional Round in dramatic fashion today, stealing Game 1 from the Eureka Hornets in a walk-off in the 11th inning. Mile High took the 3-1 win thanks in large part to a good day from starter James Jostle. The left-hander threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball in the win, which gave the Mustangs a 1-0 lead to start the best-of-7 series.

Harley Ware chipped in for Mile High with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"Winning is contagious," said Jostle. "We're looking forward to the next game."

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at McNichols Stadium. Slated to start are Jorge Salazar for Eureka and Jose Albertrani for Mile High.
