Monarchs Clip Outlaws 4-3 in R1 Contest
Already down in the CBL League Championship, the London Monarchs put on their best show, beating the Calgary Outlaws by a final score of 4-3 today. Myles Neville earned player of the game honors, as he threw 6 innings of shutout ball. London now trails Calgary 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.

Gérard Lelièvre was the walk-off hero for London. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Monarchs third baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"This place was rocking at the end," Lelièvre said.

Game 6 is set to be played Saturday. The scheduled starters for the game are Keith Ormon for the London Monarchs and Larry Sentner for the the Calgary Outlaws.
