Patriots Hammered by Partin, Drop Game 6 to Indians
The Jefferson Indians and the Francis Lewis Patriots will take the Little League World Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Indians beat the Patriots 6-5 at Ottawa HS Grounds to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Jefferson first baseman Gil Partin was named player of the game in the win after he went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs.

Kyle Jones's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Stephon Jackson for a 2-run home run. It put Jefferson in front, 6-5.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Jones.

Game 7 is set to be played tomorrow at Ottawa HS Grounds. The scheduled starters for the game are Benny Bishop for Jefferson and Ray Cummings for Francis Lewis.
