Indians Hammered by Theriot, Fall Further Behind in R2
Riding the 3-hit performance of third baseman Jimmy Theriot, the Francis Lewis Patriots got a road win against the Jefferson Indians, 9-7, in Game 3 of the Little League World Series today. Theriot belted 2 home runs for the Patriots, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

Billy O'Brien's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Richard Pupo for a run-scoring single. It put Francis Lewis in front, 7-6.

"I got everyone together and told them they did great today," Francis Lewis manager Justin Easton told BNN reporters after the game. "But I warned them that even if we make it out of the Little League World Series, it's only going to get harder."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Monterrey HS. Slated to start are Sam Berg for the Francis Lewis Patriots and Benny Bishop for the the Jefferson Indians.
