Coltrin Handcuffs Indians, Patriots Seize 2-0 Advantage in R2
Aaron Coltrin pitched a gem to help the Francis Lewis Patriots escape with a tight 2-1 victory over the Jefferson Indians in a low-scoring Little League World Series contest today. The left-handed Coltrin threw 7 innings of shutout ball in the win, just enough for the Patriots on a day when their offense dried up. Francis Lewis now leads the best-of-7 series 2-0.

The Indians had trouble solving Coltrin, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Coltrin told the Francis Lewis Chronicle.

Game 3 is set to be played Friday at Ballpark of Monterrey HS. Slated to start are Sam Berg for the Francis Lewis Patriots and Benny Bishop for the the Jefferson Indians.
