With starter Bill Crabbe leading the charge, the Jefferson Indians defeated the Grand Island Islanders, 4-2, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series today. The right-hander threw 8 innings allowing 2 runs at Ballpark of Morelia HS to help Jefferson take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

In the top of the fourth, with the game tied, the Islanders allowed the Indians to take a 2-0 lead on a base hit and Grand Island error.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Crabbe.

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Morelia HS in Grand Island. The scheduled starters for the game are Kyle Simon for Jefferson and Tim Johnson for Grand Island.
