Storm Hammered by Rodriguez, Drop Game 3 to Sabercats
The Sedona Sabercats have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Wichita Storm, winning 9-4 at The Lair at Sabercat Field today. Sabercats catcher Alex Rodriguez was named player of the game after he belted 2 home runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Sabercats to 2-1 in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

Rodriguez hit 2 home runs against the Storm. With the game tied in the bottom of the second inning, he reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run that scored 1 and put Sedona in front, 2-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Rodriguez said.

Game 4 is scheduled for tomorrow at The Lair at Sabercat Field in Sedona. The scheduled starters for the game are Tony Maldonado for Wichita and Ian Portz for Sedona.
