The Brooklyn Cyclones stymied the Framingham Fighting Camels, 5-0, at Vin Scully Park. Lorenzo Morán, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Brooklyn. Brooklyn reliever Luke Clarke picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Mike Weschler was collared with the loss. Brooklyn, now 4-1, has gotten their season off to a good start.

John Hoehn hit a run-scoring triple off Mike Weschler in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Cyclones in front, 1-0. Hoehn had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Hoehn. "And not try to do too much."
