|
The 2033 season did not get off to quite the start the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas had hoped, with an opening day loss to the Caribbean Commies at Scripps Field. The final score was 7-5. Starting Pitcher Yeong-sam Yi was named player of the game for Caribbean.
Jose Aguiar helped out the Caribbean cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.
In comments to the Caribbean Gazette, Aguiar admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
