Jun Nakayama pitched a gem to lead Seattle to a 2-1 victory over the Portland Beavers. Even with the win, the Sasquatch have a dismal 30-57 record.

The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from first baseman Ruberto Sucena. For the game, Sucena was 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Seattle a 2-1 lead.

"Getting the win feels nice," said Sucena. "More importantly, I had a good game."
