Victory Pushes Cardinals Record to 43-20
Montreal Cardinals starter Antonio Pichardo turned in a top-notch performance against the Derby Panthers at Nezahualcoyotl HS Grounds. The result was a win for the Cardinals, 7-2. The Cardinals have an impressive 43-20 record.

The Cardinals got a big at-bat from catcher Takuzo Yamamoto. For the game, Yamamoto went 2-4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 54th hit of the season gave Montreal a 3-2 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Yamamoto told the Montreal Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
