Big Day by Salazar Ignites Blues Win
|
Central Tech first baseman Moises Salazar was a significant contributor in his team's 8-4 triumph over the Kearny High Cardinals. He went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times for Central Tech. Preston Wensel, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 9 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 7. His record now stands at 1-4. The Blues bumped their record to 31-30 with this latest triumph.
