The Francis Lewis Patriots topped the Tioga Central Tigers, 7-1, in Pete Rose League action at Alleycats Ballpark. The player of the game was Francis Lewis pitcher Sam Berg. Francis Lewis leads the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division by 11½ games.

Tim Croix, who is tied for 10th in the PRL in hits with 87, aided the Francis Lewis cause with a bases-clearing triple in the top of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 5 runs and scored once.
