Patriots Continue Skid Thanks to Holman, Mustangs
Karl Holman helped his team muscle past the George Washington Patriots, 10-7. In the game, the Downsview third baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Casey Johnson recorded his 9th save for Downsview. The Patriots, now 17-42, have lost 4 in a row.

Had Andy Bailey not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Bailey hit a grand slam. That made the score 10-7, in favor of the Mustangs.
