Jacksonville State designated hitter Kevin Belding had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Belding went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as Pleasantville beat the Jaguars, 10-7. Belding was named the player of the game despite the loss. Paul Bowes picked up the win with 8.1 innings of work. He allowed 7 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 10 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 7-4. The second-place Panthers have won 4 in a row.

The Panthers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jason Prescott. For the game, Prescott was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
