College and Kearny High duked it out at Swamp Foxes Stadium and the Park came out victorious.
In a high-scoring contest between College and Kearny High, first baseman Jake Charbonnier was a difference-maker. Charbonnier, who is tied for 5th in the HAL in home runs with 14, earned player of the game honors in the 10-8 College win. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Dustin Arcuri earned the win for College. He lasted 7.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 7 hits, while striking out 14. With the win, he raised his record to 8-2. Clint Vollmer converted his 14th save in 16 tries.
Henry Hart hit a bases-clearing double off I-po Liu in the bottom of the third, which put the Park in front, 6-4. In addition to the double, Hart had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
"We take it day by day here," said Charbonnier, "and today was a good one for us."
The Park now own a record of 29-29.
