The Riverside Poly powered past the Seminole Warhawks, 12-9, at Apollos Ballpark. Andrew Withrow went 2 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4, to lead the charge. Jamie Boles converted his 10th save in 12 tries. The Poly bumped their record to 29-27 with this latest triumph.

The Poly got a big at-bat from first baseman Aiden Weil. For the game, Weil was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Riverside a 10-9 lead.

In postgame comments to the Riverside Daily News, Weil said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
