The Tioga Central Tigers dealt the Santa Clara Vampires a 9-8 loss at Alleycats Ballpark. Cory Crow was the star on offense. He went 4 for 6 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Tioga Central reliever Sam Foresee picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Cory Blankenship absorbed the loss. The Tigers own a robust 37-18 mark.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the 13th inning. With one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Kelan Gosse, hit a double. It helped Tioga Central seize the win.

"We came out aggressive," said Tigers manager Gabriel McKinnes. "We came out swinging the bats."
