Mustangs Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Downsview beat Lerna at Visigoths Stadium, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Jayden Palmer, who earned player of the game honors. Their 22-32 record puts the Mustangs 4th in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division.

Downsview won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Yodo Oyama on the mound for Lerna, center fielder Peyton Miller hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Mustangs fans to their feet.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Palmer, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
