Grimes Excels, But Chargers Win
Despite a great performance by Tioga Central designated hitter Brendan Grimes, the Topeka West Chargers defeated the Tigers by the score of 8-7 at Alleycats Ballpark. Grimes was 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Topeka West reliever Josh Alcorn was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Justin Mock.
