The Downsview Mustangs bested the Lerna Lions by a score of 5-4, with designated hitter William Nowell getting the main credit. On the day, Nowell was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Mustangs. The Mustangs now own a record of 21-32.

Danny Roman was the walk-off hero for Downsview. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mustangs catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
