Young Goes Off, But Mustangs Win
Despite a great performance by Central Tech right fielder David Young, the San Marin Mustangs defeated the Blues by the score of 11-10 at Oranges Ballpark. Young belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Victor Correa earned the win for San Marin. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 5 earned runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 3-6. The 5th-place Mustangs are now 22-29, the Blues 26-25.

It could have been a different outcome for San Marin, had it not been for Elliott Atherton, the 17-year old second baseman . Atherton contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put San Marin up, 3-1.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Atherton said after the game.
