San Marin and Santa Clara duked it out at River Otters Ballpark and the Mustangs came out victorious.

The Santa Clara Vampires got a superb performance from center fielder Kris Washington, but the San Marin Mustangs still won the game, 14-11. Washington was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. San Marin reliever Billy Doughty picked up the win to move to 3-1. Rick Miller suffered the loss.

Faical Guiniais hit a run-scoring double off Rick Miller in the top of the eighth, which put the Mustangs in front, 12-11. In addition to the double, Guiniais had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Guiniais.

San Marin is in 4th place in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division with a record of 20-26.
