DeLacy Powers Golden Bears to 8-5 Win
Billings West designated hitter Chris DeLacy was instrumental in his team's 8-5 win over the Jacksonville State Jaguars. DeLacy, who is tied for 4th in the PRL with a .409 batting average, went 3-3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Golden Bears. Alan Williams, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed 5 runs on 12 hits in 6.2 innings. Getting the save was Wally Blake, his 2nd.

DeLacy had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a sacrifice fly. The Golden Bears went on to win.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," DeLacy said.

Billings West is in second place in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division with a record of 21-25.
