Schrader Hits 2 home runs in Warhawks Win
|
Randy Schrader made an impact in the 8-7 Seminole win over Tenafly. Schrader, who is tied for 8th in the HAL in triples with 2, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The Warhawks move to 17-28 with the win, while the Tigers drop to 19-26.
Schrader came through for the Warhawks in the top of the ninth inning. With Seminole leading 7-6, the third baseman got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run. It made the score 8-6, Seminole.
"It wasn't our best performance," said Schrader, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
