Sunday, November 7th, 2032
The future looks extremely bright for José López. At the age of 21, many players are still trying to find their way in SINGLE A.
López has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Lyman Bostock League Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .334 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Victoria Vikings star also put up a .405 on-base percentage this year, with 209 hits, 53 doubles, 1 triple, 25 home runs, 115 RBIs and 96 runs scored.
Justin Jacks of the New Orleans Jedi Knights finished second in voting, while Alex Bahena of the Chippewa River Chiefs finished third.
