Year Ends for Chris Eddy in Nichols
Tuesday, October 5th, 2032
Chris Eddy will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Nichols starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Eddy was injured while throwing a pitch in the Gnats-Bloodhounds clash at Grand Canyon Valley Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 10-11 months.
Thus far this season, Eddy has worked 119 innings with 92 strikeouts en route to a 4-16 record and a 6.96 ERA.
