Hernández and Cortez Brawl, League Suspends Them Tuesday, September 14th, 2032 It was quite a row yesterday at Hornets Field. The Hornets Miguel Hernández and the Bloodhounds Wil Cortez backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Hernández and Cortez were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 5-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. This year Hernández is hitting .243 with 80 hits, 7 home runs, 42 RBIs and has scored 45 runs. |
