Eugene Emeralds Mathematically Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 9th, 2032 It has been a woeful season for the Eugene Emeralds and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Tom Becker. "And nothing broke our way this year." This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2030. In the last 10 seasons, the Emeralds have missed the playoffs 7 times. In total, the Emeralds have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 20-year history. |
