BOL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 19th, 2032 21-year-old Larry Zimmerman made a few Coney Island headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Lyman Bostock League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 6 hits in 11 at-bats to put up a .545 average. Zimmerman collected 1 home run, 3 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Zimmerman is batting .307 with 12 home runs and 34 RBIs this season. |
