Princes Chill Oosterman's Hot Streak
Saturday, July 17th, 2032
The Tree City Black Squirrels lost to the Bel Air Princes 4-2 today at The Nut House, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Shalom Oosterman's 20-game hitting streak. The right fielder went 0-for-2 on the day.

"We felt if we could slow down Oosterman, we would win the game," Princes manager Leland Austin explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down."

For the season Oosterman has hit .295 with 1 home run and 28 RBIs. He has played in 92 games and scored 78 times.
