Injury Sidelines Edwin Ruiz for Season Wednesday, July 7th, 2032 Edwin Ruiz will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the New Orleans right fielder could miss the remainder of the year. Ruiz was injured while making a defensive play in the Jedi Knights-Vikings clash at The Republic recently. Doctors said he has a broken bone in the elbow and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. This year Ruiz is batting .262 with 79 hits, 9 home runs, 49 RBIs, 23 walks, .312 OBP and has scored 38 runs. |
