Gang Niu put together a very solid month to take home the Lyman Bostock League's top pitching honor in June. The 23-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 15 relief appearances he raked in 12 saves and 13 strikeouts in 14 innings as he put together his 0-1 record and 0.64 ERA. Over the season, Niu has made 43 relief appearances with 26 saves. He has K'd 50 batters in 45 innings, yielded 15 walks and has a 3.00 ERA. Niu's record this year is 2-4. |
