Brown Takes Best Bat Trophy in June Thursday, July 1st, 2032 Elijah Brown put together a good June to earn the Lyman Bostock League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Chippewa officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The River Chiefs first baseman posted a .247 batting average with 12 home runs, 28 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Brown is presently hitting at a .244 pace with 21 home runs, 57 RBIs and has scored 56 times. |
