Bedford Crowned Batter of the Month in June Thursday, July 1st, 2032 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 23 Ty Bedford has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Tree City Black Squirrels star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the Donnie Moore League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .351 average with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored. To date, Bedford has collected 95 hits for a .360 average. He has posted 13 home runs, scored 64 runs and driven in 56 runs. |
